May 22 - Maderia Tobaggan Ride

When we got off the cable car we were looking for the start of the tobaggan ride.  Honestly felt like the people on Amazing Race as we searched for which way to go.  Asked a few people and we were misdirected - only to turn around and see a sign pointing us into the direction we needed to go. 

This was an awesome adventure.  When we first arrived in the area it was a little chaotic; so we climbed up a street and found this little shop.  The shop keeper was SUPER sweet!!  He shared history of his store and his favorite things to sell.  Just so fun talking to him and of course buying a few things.

Back outside the tobaggan guys now looked ready to go and off we went - David and Kim in one tobaggan followed by Mike and Elizabeth.  The guides guided us down the narrow streets and had no objections to David and Elizabeth's squeals of delight!
