We left Barcelona for London. We had the opportunity to spend some more time in the city of Barcelona but headed to the airport instead. A few of us needed some more sleep :) Some time to be prepared for the next part of the adventure in LONDON!
The flight to London was uneventful - the adventure through the airport and city.... was more than we expected on a cold and light drizzling rain night. We were thrilled to finally get to the hotel!
The next morning we had the most INCREDIBLE day in London.
We saw
The London Eye
Big Ben
The Palace and the guards preparing the change
The Abby
We rode the double deck buses and the Underground!! Saw signs from the William and Kate wedding and signs for Obama to see.

May 27 - Barcelona Spain
WOW -- What a City!! We decided to take a Disney Adventure and see some of the city since we could be in this area for two days. It was incredible! We decided to see Gaudi's work and the city.
Probably the most breathe taking was the landmark architectural works include the superb designs of the famed Antonio Gaudi. Visit his masterwork, La Sagrada Familia, a church that began its construction in 1881 and still remains incomplete; but work is in progress!! Many of the people in the area desire for it to be complete in 2016 but it's not sure if that will occur. AMAZING!! Starting on the east side of the building - as the sun rises you will see the birth of Christ. Walk to the west side of the building (the side in which the sun sets) you will see the death of Christ. Looking at the building from Left to Right you will see the remarkable story of Christ's life. The stone carvings are unbelievable!!! Inside the church the amazement continued with incredible staircases but also huge pillars that are formed like trees. The entire building was beyond amazement. I found this website that shared so much more about this incredible building - http://www.sagradafamilia.cat/sf-eng/docs_instit/historia.php?lang=0
We then went to see more of Gaudi's work is on display in Park Guell;we found astounding stone structures intricately inlaid with a rainbow of multicolored tiles. Also in the park is an outstanding fountain shaped like a dragon, which locals refer to as "the lizard. " It has become one of Barcelona's signature symbols.

May 25 - Charo
After a fun day and then dinner we debated on going to the Charo show. Now granted my thoughts on seeing Charo were not enthusiastic as I keep thinking Chui Chui and this blonde from the Love Boat and Fantasy Island show. We were having a tough day with one child having a tough day - exhaustion was the main cause of this.
Now we sat in our normal area but closer to the end of the row then normal. I have to admit Charo was great! She's a gifted guitar player and has an awesome band. I was very impressed with her modesty as well. When she went to sit on a stool to play the guitar she shared the need for a longer skirt to be appropriate. The skirt was BEAUTIFUL and I was impressed!
Even more impressed when she came down to the audience and greeted people. She made people feel smile! Well one person she pulled into the aisle was my own son David!!! David got up from his seat and did some hip hop moves up a few stairs and then gave her a hug. He loved it!!! When she returned on stage she mentioned him and he ran up there to hug her again. Needless to say they had a cute conversation and it was an adorable moment that David will NEVER forget.
We met Charo again in Gibraltar as she was going out to see the Rock. Then we saw her again at the autograph session. She's a super sweet and amazing person!!
